Sprout Terms of Service

Please read and fully understand these Terms before registering for or using Sprout (the "Service"). By registering or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

• The Service is a vocabulary-learning application offering word learning, review, study statistics, achievements, leaderboards and membership.
• Certain features or content require an active membership.

2. Account Registration and Security

• You must register with true and accurate information and keep your account and password secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you discover unauthorized use or a security risk, notify us immediately.
• We may apply verification, restriction or suspension measures where reasonably necessary to protect security.

3. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal and Refunds

• Membership is purchased via in-app purchase (Apple App Store / Google Play); benefits and prices are as shown on the checkout page.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically before expiry under the rules of the respective platform, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your platform account settings.
• Refunds: refund requests are handled according to Apple's / Google's respective platform refund rules.

4. Virtual Items (Study Coins)

• The Service may offer virtual items such as "Study Coins" for use in in-app features or benefit redemption.
• Virtual items may only be used within the Service, are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for legal currency, and are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. User Conduct

• You must not use the Service for any unlawful activity, or upload or distribute content that infringes others' rights or is illegal or inappropriate.
• You must not disrupt the Service or gain improper benefits through cheats, scripts, reverse engineering or similar means.

6. Intellectual Property

• The intellectual property in the App and its interface, text, word banks, trademarks and software belongs to us or the respective rights holders.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute or otherwise use such content without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer

• The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranties as to availability, accuracy or uninterrupted operation.
• To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by force majeure, third-party services, or your own actions.

8. Changes and Termination of the Service

• We may modify, suspend or terminate part or all of the Service for operational reasons, with reasonable prior notice where practicable.
• If you breach these Terms, we may suspend or terminate the Service to you.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• The formation, validity, interpretation and dispute resolution of these Terms are governed by applicable law.
